To use the search facility simply enter a phrase in the text box below the 'Site Search' form near the top left hand corner of any web page and press the return key or click on the 'Go' button. 

The search engine will then display a list of documents available from our web site that may be of interest to you.  The results are ranked so that, hopefully, the documents that most closely match your requirements will be presented near the top of the list.

The site search engine will search for all the words contained in your phrase (a 'boolean and search'), as this is usually the most accurate type of search.  In order to achieve this your search phrase is parsed before searched for and may be modified to make the phrase compatible with this type of search.  Occasionally you may find the parsing process has removed a word or words from your phrase in order to keep the phrase compatible.
